Crossroads Community Church exists to serve the families of Shamong and the surrounding communities by fostering meaningful relationships, presenting relevant preaching and offering engaging children’s programs.

Springing out of a home Bible Study during the fall of 2004, Crossroads Church of Shamong, New Jersey held their first worship service on January 3rd 2005. Two things were decided on that first Sunday, one, they needed more chairs and two; this was the start of something good for the people who gathered to worship.

Since the first meeting we have done several fun events along with our Sunday morning worship services each week. Family Movie Nights Bonfires, Hayrides, Carry-In Dinners and Youth Events have given us an opportunity to get to know each other.

Crossroads is a place to come to connect with God and your neighbors, enjoy a cup of coffee and the smiles and laughter of children having a good time. There is room for you and a place for you to use your gifts to help others inside our community and globally.

Crossroads is committed to helping others. In the last few years we have built a home for Katrina victims, sent a group to Acuna Mexico to minister at a local orphanage, painted the home of a local family which needed a helping hand and supported several missionaries in their work.

The church is led by four elders who see to the day to day operation and ministries. Crossroads is not a member of any denomination however, we are a part of the body of Christ and free to minister alongside of any church or organization to advance the cause of Christ. All decisions about the future of Crossroads and the church family are made by the church family and the Elders at the local level.

Crossroads is a 501(c)3 organization under Internal Revenue Guidelines and contributions to the ministry are tax deductible according to IRS regulations.
